This project's foundation is to accompany, inspire, nourish, and sustain newborns who have just arrived and are beginning their lives with quality and warmth. It also aims to enhance the expressive and communicative abilities of the child and the adult "home" who accompanies them during the sessions.
Music, for me, fulfills two qualities, one of them wonderful and specific, music is the medium, through harmony and rhythm a structure is created, a sound space, and at the same time it is a language, a code, so good;
MUSIC welcomes us and at the same time allows us to connect with ourselves and express ourselves, connecting personal and individual experiences with those of a group that supports and sustains, shares and co-creates. My job is to create this caring, trusting, and judgment-free space where we can explore.

Family music workshops
The adult has the opportunity to observe and get to know the child he or she is accompanying and at the same time to benefit from the diversity and the particular and innate characteristics of each of the children who share this experience.
The dynamic requires the involvement of adults, we share the moment and physical presence is necessary but also an internal state predisposed to be in what we are, to live in coherence, in this case attending a family music workshop, and it seems like a demand but my experience tells me that it happens naturally, getting to hear from the mouth of a mother after finishing a weekly session, with a smile on her face of satisfaction and relief "this little while of the week I don't think about anything! I'm here and that's it"

Continuing along the adult line, my will in these sessions is for the adult to reconcile with their own voice. As the years go by, very often, adults hide it out of fear and lack of acceptance. You don't have to be an opera singer to come to these sessions. It is necessary to put the voice at the service of our being, let it come out and flow, let it play and be the thread that weaves this structure, this space of sharing and exploration.
And never forget that the voice of the adult accompanying their child is the anchor. Babies come into the world open, their antennae are open, and hearing is one of their guiding senses and holds the key to "home." In the session, it's essential that the voice of their companion be present. This way, a layer of trust and comfort begins to build, where little by little they can feel safe and learn.

And I'm speaking about this concept for the first time so far. In this case, learning isn't just about music, as it would be redundant if this project were basically musical. Learning to be, to wait, to observe, to feel, to perceive, and to understand how things work, how they do their dynamics. Learning to respect, and above all, learning to be who they are while respecting others.
And this brought to the classroom is, listen to others, follow the guidelines of the facilitator, in this case me, respect your turn, wait for the material to be distributed, understand the game and participate, and learn that each one has their own pace of evolution and involvement, it is very clear how there are creatures that participate actively from the first session, on the other hand, others need weeks, once they have assimilated and observed, they slowly begin to manifest themselves actively, and I am not saying that they were not active, since in reality their system is doing is clearly observing its environment, and returning to the point, it is important to learn that each one has their own times and all, absolutely all are fine, are valid.
At Múxics we work to make each session a shared gift:
A space for sound play, for meeting oneself and others, and above all, for bonding and enjoying the family.
